PostgreSQL Hot Backup Module
 Arkeia Software provides the broadest and deepest support for Linux and open source applications. Arkeia offers a fully integrated professional online backup and restore solution for the widely-used PostgreSQL open source database.
Main features include:
- Protect the database without interrupting PostgreSQL services.
- The online backup is easily configured through the Arkeia Software graphical user interface which provides single click selection of the databases to be backed up or restored on the PostgreSQL server.
- Compatible with PostgreSQL 7.2 and above, this Arkeia module is initially available for Linux with other platform support to follow.
In anticipation of the upcoming PostgreSQL v8 release, Arkeia also announced its planned support of Point-in-Time recovery features which will be introduced with the next PostgreSQL version.
