 Disaster Recovery Option
Arkeia Software's innovative Linux and Windows Disaster Recovery software enables fast and easy recovery from Linux and Windows system failures. The Arkeia Disaster Recovery option works with both Arkeia Network Backup and Arkeia EdgeFort to add an additional layer of data protection.
Unlike file backup, bare-metal restore through Arkeia Disaster Recovery quickly recovers entire systems, including registry files. Arkeia Disaster Recovery allows restores from multiple media types (CD, USB, network, etc.) to the same machine or even new hardware.
New Windows Disaster Recovery
Arkeia has developed a new Windows Disaster Recovery option with enhanced features for Windows Vista and 2003 Server.
- Hot Backup: platforms supporting VSS do not need to be rebooted during the disaster recovery process
- Backup Granularity: backups are performed at the file level
- Backup Type: full and incremental backups are supported
- Disk Configuration: basic and dynamic disks are supported
- File System: NTFS, FAT32, and FAT are supported
