FILE STORAGE AND RECOVERY
Knox Software wins key award at LinuxWorld '99
Carlsbad, Calif. - October 4, 1999 Knox Software's Arkeia received the Editor's Choice Award for file storage and recovery from LinuxWorld Magazine at LinuxWorld on August 10, 1999 in San Jose, Calif. The awards were designed to recognize innovative companies and individuals committed to developing Linux tools and technologies that help drive Linux and the open source movement forward.
The August 19, 1999 issue of LinuxWorld states that "Arkeia was chosen because of its enterprise-level scalability, reliability, ease-of-use and data integrity.
Arkeia is a rich, network backup solution for Linux servers and clients and many other platforms.
Arkeia is a client/server, multiplatform solution, which makes it a convenient way to back up your entire enterprise."
"We are extremely honored to receive this award for the best file storage and recovery from the editors of LinuxWorld Magazine," said Sam Siegel,
president of Knox Software. "Winning the Editor's Choice Award
