Arkeia Announces Support for VMware vSphere 5.0

 vSphere Logo During VMworld 2011 Las Vegas, Arkeia Software announced beta availability of Arkeia Network Backup v9.0 for VMware’s vSphere 5.

The Arkeia Network Backup Agent for vSphere 5 uses VMware’s latest vStorage APIs for Data Protection (VADP) for faster backups and recovery. The agent supports VMware’s Changed Block Tracking (CBT) for fast incremental backups and file-grain restores, and both vCenter and vApp for flexible management of large vSphere deployments across multiple physical hosts. Multi-tenancy Cloud Storage Solution for Hosting Providers

Multi-Tenant_logoArkeia has made available a multi-tenant cloud storage solution that is ideal for hosting providers by replicating data to the cloud and reducing cost and complexity of tape transport by truck.

Arkeia also offers special pricing that adapts to the pricing models that hosting providers offer to their customers.
