New Firmware for Arkeia v8.2
Arkeia Network Backup v8.2 for Appliances and Virtual Appliance is now available. Arkeia Network Backup v8.2 is available from our download site. Features available in v8.2 on appliances include:
- Improved email alerts upon degradation of RAID storage on Arkeia Appliances- Support for new agents based on Microsoft’s Virtual Shadow-Copy Service (VSS):
- Hyper-V 2008 R2
- Exchange 2010,
- SQL Server 2008 R2, and
- Sharepoint 2010
- GroupWise,
- eDirectory, and
- iFolder
- Support for new vStorage Agent for VMware vSphere 4

Arkeia Network Backup v6.0 End-of-Life Notice
Beginning October 1, 2010, Arkeia Network Backup v6.0 will transition from “Sustaining Support” to “Unsupported” status. Get more information about end-of-life procedures here.
Upgrade to v8.2, which features broad support for new backup agents including VMware's vStorage, Microsoft's Hyper-V/Exchange/SharePoint/SQL Server and Novell's Groupwise/eDirectory/iFolder.
