Paris and Berlin, December 13, 2011 – Arkeia Software, a leading provider of fast, easy-to-use, and affordable network backup solutions today announced an outstanding year of growing its worldwide partner program. Germany attained the highest number of new partners and a 230% business growth in 2011. Arkeia's partner success this year is attributed to several significant product releases including Arkeia Network Backup v9, which introduced Progressive Deduplication™ to the marketplace, and a new range of hardware appliances designed to speed up backups while simplifying the process.

Proto-soft AG, an international consulting company and software vendor, has recently upgraded its status from Authorized Partner to Premier Partner. The company was founded in 1999 and specializes in providing solutions for Red Hat, as well as consults for IT planning and application development for both small and medium businesses.
TCPlus is a new Arkeia distributor in Austria and Switzerland. In business for nearly 20 years, TCPlus focuses their business on providing backup products and solutions to small and medium enterprises as well as large enterprise companies.
YO: GO Ltd, another Switzerland based partner, is a well-known service provider featuring enterprise software solutions for planning, implementation and optimization of business environments.
Cloud Backup for Partners
As part of its strategy to further develop cloud backup services as a business model, Arkeia provides all Premier partners a free license for a backup replication server in a private or public cloud. This license provides customers with the option for off-site replication, allowing MSPs and VARs to add to their existing revenue models selling products and services.Partner Event in Lisbon
Arkeia's annual Partner Event will take place in Lisbon, Portugal on January 30-31, 2012. The event (sponsored by RedHat) will feature a keynote from Arkeia CEO Bill Evans, as well as the 2012 product roadmap, hands-on product demos, hybrid-cloud backup solutions and much more.
