Arkeia Announces a New Distribution Agreement with Additional Design

Storage Value-Added Distributor Expands Arkeia's Business in France

Paris, France October 4, 2011 – Arkeia Software, a leading provider of fast, easy-to-use, and affordable network backup solutions, and Additional Design, a branch of the storage group Exer Datacom that specializes in integrating and selling storage solutions, announced a distribution agreement. The partnership allows Additional Design to market Arkeia’s full range of software and backup appliances to their network of over 300 partners. Additional Design’s expertise in the storage industry, as well as their broad support in the region will aid Arkeia in further penetrating the French market.

Arkeia will benefit from Additional Design’s technology resources including, additional sales and technical support to promote and deploy Arkeia Network Backup in France.

Arkeia has steadily grown over the past two years and added highly developed features to its flagship software including patented Progressive Deduplication ™, support for four leading virtual environment platforms, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer and Red Hat RHEV and top-of-the-line physical and virtual appliances. Arkeia’s solutions are easy to use and will be complementary to the existing catalog of Additional Design.

Arkeia provides eight models of all-in-one backup appliances, as well as virtual appliances and software backup servers for deployment on customer hardware. Hosting providers typically deploy Arkeia software, rather than appliances, in their network operations centers.
